In May 2010 Bethany Howard graduated from NCU with a degree in interdisciplinary studies and quickly began a career as a certified weight loss consultant with Metabolic Research Center. She spent the next two years educating, supporting and encouraging clients in their personal journey to a healthier lifestyle.
In the summer of 2012, Bethany married fellow NCU graduate, Aaron Dilla ’11 and together made the move to Johnson City, Tenn. where Aaron began attending Emmanuel Christian Seminary. “During our time there, I continued my passion for nutrition and desire to help others by starting my own business” said Dilla. “I also attended Emmanuel, taking several graduate level counseling classes.”
In May 2014, the two made another cross country move, returning to home to the Northwest when Aaron accepted the position of pastor with Twin Oaks Christian Church in Eugene.
“This past year I began to realize God was planting in my heart, a strong desire to work where I could build interpersonal relationships with others. I was so excited when He led me to the opportunity to return to NCU as one of four Academic Advisors. My time at NCU had a major impact on my own life; I couldn’t be more excited to partner with the NCU faculty and staff in assisting students on their journey to graduation.”
