Dr. Terrence O’Casey, Associate Professor of Christian Ministry and Bible, is among the scholars, ministry leaders, and culture-makers from Oregon, Washington, Idaho and British Columbia who will present papers and lead discussion groups during the Christ & Cascadia Conference in Seattle, Oct. 14-16, 2016.
“I am pleased to participate in this important conference that explores the challenges and opportunities that exist at the intersection of our church and Cascadia cultural,” Dr. O’Casey said. “As a gardener, when we understand the soil, the culture we live in, we can better seed and care for the plantings. Likewise, as we try to enter the stories and lives of those we encounter in the Pacific Northwest, we can better care for people.”
In addition to Dr. Casey, scholars from Gonzaga University, George Fox University, Seattle Pacific University, Whitworth University, Liberty University and Northwest Nazarene University are among the other presenters from academia.
Hosted by the Fuller Institute for Theology and Northwest Culture, Christ & Cascadia Conference is made possible by a generous grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust.
