2024 SBLT Graduate and Business Student of the Year to Attend Gonzaga Law School
2024 SBLT graduate Benjamin Randol is a shining example of personal growth and leadership. After graduating with dual undergraduate degrees in business and history, Randol was named the Business Student of the Year for his exceptional achievements in academics, leadership, and service. Randol’s journey, marked by his admission to Gonzaga Law School in Spokane, Wash., is a testament to the impactful education and preparation provided by Bushnell University.
2024 SBLT Accounting Graduate and Accounting Student of the Year to one of the top CPA firms
Alex Petshow, a graduate from the SBLT accounting program, has secured a position at Geffen Mesher & Co., in downtown Portland, Ore, ranked in the top 1% of accounting firms in the U.S. Recognized for his exceptional scholarship, leadership, and service, Petshow’s accolades include being named to the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) Circle of Excellence. With aspirations of becoming a CPA, Petshow attributes his early success to the top-rated accounting program at Bushnell University.
2024 SBLT Computer Science and Software Engineer Graduate lands Tech Position with Lane County Council of Governments
Molly Haley has emerged as the first female graduate of Bushnell’s computer science and software engineering program. With her new degree in hand, Haley has secured a technology position at the Lane County Council of Governments. Her success not only highlights the university’s commitment to providing a well-rounded education but also the potential of Bushnell graduates to make a difference in the modern workforce.
2024 SBLT Accounting Graduate lands position in New York City
Lindsey Estes, another standout graduate from the accounting program, has secured a job in the bustling financial hub of New York City. With an undergraduate degree in accounting, Estes, who is from Virginia, lands back on the East Coast to be closer to home. Her journey exemplifies her determination and ambition. Guided by her professor Shelly Hartzell, herself a CPA, Estes is poised for success in her new accounting position in the largest municipal and regional economy in the United States.
2024 SBLT Computer Science Graduate begins working to give back to Bushnell University students, faculty, and staff
Shijo John, a computer science and software engineering graduate, exemplifies the character of giving back to the community. Rather than pursuing opportunities elsewhere, John has chosen to stay close to his alma mater to begin pursuing his MBA while continuing to support incoming students and faculty through his ongoing work in Bushnell’s IT department. John will begin teaching entry-level computer science and software engineering courses to first-year students. As he continues his professional journey, John’s dedication to mentoring and teaching underscores the importance of nurturing the next generation of leaders in the field of computer science.
