EUGENE, Ore. – Senior Halle Neumann was named to the Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America At-Large Second Team on Tuesday.
The 2024 Academic All-America teams, voted on by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA), recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. A total of 24 student-athletes were named to the NAIA team from over 100 nominees on the All-District team. Neumann is one of seven individuals selected that boast a 4.0 GPA.
Neumann, a Master of Business Administration major from Colfax, Calif., finished her career as Bushnell’s all-time wins leader with 22 and had the best winning percentage on the team in both of her first two seasons. Neumann was an All-California Pacific Conference selection as a sophomore and earned NAIA West Region Honorable Mention last year. This season she capped off her career by being named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Co-Attacker of the Year.
Bushnell had 28 student-athletes earn CSC Academic All-District honors this season and Neumann is the first to go on to be voted onto the All-America team. She is the Beacons’ first-ever Academic All-America recipient for beach volleyball.
