EUGENE, Ore. – The School of Business, Leadership, and Technology at Bushnell University proudly inducted 24 graduates into the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society on May 10, marking one of the largest classes of honor society inductees in recent memory and reflecting the school’s commitment to growth. Both undergraduate and graduate students were honored for their exceptional achievements in business, management, accounting, and administration.
The inductees represent the top percentage of their class, boasting an impressive GPA cutoff of 3.98. Dr. Latrissa Lee Neiworth, Dean of the College of Professional Studies, commended the students’ perseverance and dedication in graduating with top grades.
While this class may have started their college education a bit slower due to the global pandemic, they were determined not to let that impact a strong finish.” said Dr. Neiworth.
As they continue on a path of excellence, these alumni will carry on the Sigma Beta Delta motto of “Wisdom … Honor … Aspirations.” They are called to “aspire to the fulfillment of one’s goals to serve humankind and develop personally and professionally,” as the Sigma Beta Delta website puts it. This call to serve others with wisdom also reflects the culture in which these alumni grew and learned while at Bushnell.
The induction ceremony served as evidence of the academic excellence and the hard work of these students as they embark on their personal and professional journeys post graduation.
