EUGENE, Ore. – The 2025 Iggy Awards took place on Wednesday night as the Bushnell Athletic department honored the best of the best achievements of their 17 teams and 300 student-athletes.
Award Winners included:
Perseverance Award: Alexa Perez, Softball

Legacy Award: Libby Mathis, Women’s Basketball
Legacy Award: Jordan Wilson, Baseball
Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Matty Ladd, Volleyball
Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Luke Smith, Men’s Basketball
Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Benjamin Lovrod, Men’s Golf
Impact Award: Jameson Hussey, Baseball
Impact Award: Sayer Pescosolido, Men’s Cross Country/Track
Male Champion of Character Award: Caleb Premo, Men’s Soccer
Female Champion of Character Award: Liv Tjoelker, Women’s Basketball
Male Athlete of the Year: Kaleo Wellman, Men’s Track & Field
Female Athlete of the Year: Hailey Heider, Volleyball
Dr. Heike McNeil Cup (Team of the Year): Baseball
Additionally, Bushnell’s Chi Alpha Sigma Inductees were announced. These athletes earned at least a 3.8 cumulative GPA and have been members of the Bushnell athletics program for at least three years. A new all-time record was set as 16 athletes were selected. They were Reece Carganilla (Baseball), Abbie Chambers, (Women’s Soccer), Kyle Foss (Esports), Trevor Hammond (Baseball), Jameson Hussey (Baseball), Matty Ladd (Volleyball), Ben Lovrod (Men’s Golf), Jessie Matthews (Volleyball), Brett Olmstead (Men’s Track & Field/Esports), Bella Parque (Volleyball), Brandon Reed (Baseball), Mandy Sisul (Women’s Basketball), Luke Smith (Men’s Basketball), CJ Smith (Baseball), Ethan Stacy (Baseball), Mai Tomlin (Beach Volleyball).
