Bushnell University has officially launched its $36 million Venture Further campaign with more than $11 million already committed, including a historic $1 million gift from the Oregon Community Credit Union (OCCU) Foundation!
The largest one-time corporate foundation gift in Bushnell’s history will support the development of the OCCU Foundation Healthcare Simulation Center, providing state-of-the-art, hands-on learning experiences for students in the College of Health Professions. Located within Bushnell’s Health and Science Center, this innovative facility will simulate real-world healthcare environments to better prepare students for careers in nursing and other healthcare professions.

Bushnell University is excited to announce a new journey to transform our campus, our students, and our community: Venture Further.
On Saturday, October 24, we kicked off the new campaign with a celebration of our past and a presentation of our vision for the future as we seek to provide meaningful resources for the community in which we live and serve.
Venture Further: The Campaign for Bushnell University is built upon three pillars:
EXPAND the College of Health Professions – Equipping Bushnell graduates to live out the healing mission of Jesus as competent and compassionate caregivers.
ENHANCE the student experience – Transforming the student experience through campus expansion and supporting a thriving learning community.
EQUIP the next generation of leaders – Continuing Bushnell’s commitment to making higher education affordable and accessible to all students.
With an overall fundraising goal of $36 million, we are incredibly grateful to announce that Venture Further is launching with over $11 million already raised, made possible through the generous support of our alumni, friends, and university partners.
