Tomorrow NCU hosts 20 or so high school guidance counselors from throughout the state participating in Oregon Gear Up, a strategic college access initiative to enroll more students in Oregon universities from challenging socio-economic backgrounds, first generation college students, and students of diverse ethnic-backgrounds.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome the team from Oregon Gear Up to our beautiful campus,” said Kacie Gerdrum, NCU’s executive director of admissions. “It is going to be a good day as we inform our high school colleagues about NCU and discuss ways in which we can partner with Oregon Gear Up to help students and families navigate the college admission process.”
