Students enrolled in Northwest Christian University’s teacher education undergraduate degree program can now earn endorsements in special education and physical education.
“There is growing demand for teachers with special education and physical education endorsements,” said Dennis Lindsay, Dr. Theol., Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty. “It is a credit to our faculty and staff that NCU is meeting the need in our region for well-educated teachers with these endorsements.”
NCU’s teacher education program integrates a broad Christian liberal arts academic preparation with research-based education methods and relevant field experiences that address the needs and priorities of elementary and secondary school educators. The Oregon Teacher Standards & Practices Commission accredits the NCU teacher education programs.
