Pastors from Northwest Christian University’s Heritage Churches as well as pastors, priests and representatives from 30 churches and student ministries from the greater Eugene-Springfield area greeted students, faculty and staff after the Thurs., Sept. 7, Chapel Service in the Morse Event Center.
“Our annual Church Fair gives NCU students an easy pathway to connect with churches in the area,” said Rev. Troy Dean, M.A., NCU’s Campus Pastor. “We are blessed to have strong relationships with so many local churches with such rich traditions.”
Students, faculty and staff enjoyed lunch with representatives from the area churches.
“It is so cool that these churches set-up on campus to assist students, especially those from out of the area, to find a church where they feel at home,” said Maddie Peterson, a junior majoring in interdisciplinary studies from Redland, California.
