The 23rd Annual NCU Golf Classic and Auction brought Northwest Christian University alumni and friends together on Sept. 14-15, for dinner and a day of golf and camaraderie to raise money for student scholarships.
“Ninety-eight percent of NCU students receive scholarships and financial aid,” said Keith Potter ’84 D.D.’11, Vice President for Advancement. “The golf classic and dinner auction is an important component of the University’s ongoing efforts to make a Christian liberal arts education attainable for our students.”
Presented by Kendall Subaru and Chambers Construction, Shadow Hills Country Club near Junction City, Oregon, was the venue for the annual event.
“On behalf of the University, I want to thank Kendall Subaru and Chambers Construction, as well as our other sponsors, golfers and dinner auction attendees for their generous support of NCU students,” Potter said.
During the past few years, golfers, sponsors, and dinner auction guests have contributed more than $500,000 to the NCU scholarship fund.
