On Tuesday, November 28th, NCU’s Education Department hosted their Education Consortium. The purpose of the Consortium is to partner with our community and neighboring school districts to share information about our program and to receive feedback to improve our program. Participants include NCU students currently enrolled in the Teacher Education programs, NCU Faculty and Field Supervisors, Cooperating Teachers, and District Office personnel including HR Directors, Superintendents and Principals.
NCU hosts Consortium meetings twice a year, one in the fall and one in the spring. The input received from Consortium members is analyzed and used to further our Teacher Education programs. The topic of this fall Consortium meeting was the introduction of our new programs which includes a Special Education Endorsement and PE Endorsement and the planning of a Masters of Education program.
