EUGENE, Ore. – Post-season academic honors for men’s and women’s basketball have been announced from both the NAIA and Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) with numerous Beacons named among the honorees.

CSC Women’s Academic All-District | CSC Men’s Academic All-District
NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athletes were announced at the end of the season. In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution. Five women and seven men were selected for that honor.

The CSC Academic All-District selections were also announced. This awards are given to athletes based on combined efforts in the classroom and in competition. Sophomore status is required, along with GPA and playing time minimum requirements and each school may select a maximum of four eligible student-athletes. This year the Beacons have four women and three men who were selected.
