Northwest Christian University’s RN to BSN nursing program has been ranked one of the top nursing programs in Oregon by nurse.org. Only CCNE and ACEN accredited programs were ranked by nurse.org’s panel of registered nurses who used industry reputation, acceptance rate, tuition, and NCLEX pass rate as their criteria to identify only the top 10 nursing programs in the state.

Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the NCU RN to BSN is a 30-semester credit program consisting of 10 eight-week classes that are taught online by NCU faculty and adjunct professors with years of professional health care experience and appropriate academic credentials. RN’s can graduate from NCU with a BSN in as little as 10 months.
NCU’s RN to BSN program, founded in partnership with PeaceHealth in 2015, offers a regionally and nationally accredited program designed for recent graduates of registered nursing programs and more experienced registered nurses who want to earn a bachelor of nursing degree. NCU has similar articulation agreements with Central Oregon Community College, Lane Community College, Linn-Benton Community College, Mt. Hood Community College, Portland Community College, Chemeketa Community College, Southwestern Oregon Community College, Treasure Valley Community College, and Sumner College-Portland.
The seventh cohort of NCU RN to BSN students will graduate in December 2019.
NCU also offers an online, CCNE accredited Master of Science in Nursing designed for RNs with a bachelor’s degree and those desiring to complete both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing. NCU’s master’s program currently offers a Nurse Leader in Health Systems and Nursing Education concentration. The first cohort of MSN students graduated in August 2019.
