NCU’s Music Department Announce Dates for Spring Desserts: A Night of Disney


Postcard Front For DisneySpring Desserts: A Night of Disney, featuring the Northwest Christian University’s Choir & Orchestra, Jazz Band, and its talented a cappella group, Willow, will perform fantastic music from Mary Poppins, Lion King, Tarzan, Enchanted, Beauty and the Beast, and more on April 15, 16, and 17, 2016, in the Ross B. Evans Chapel on the NCU campus.

“We are proud to introduce a new twist to this year’s Spring Desserts,” said Karen De Young, assistant professor of Music at NCU. “Without giving away surprises, we can share that this year the audience will find themselves involved in a story that combines mystery, action, love and redemption.”

Spring Desserts: A Night of Disney will be performed at 7:00pm on Friday, April 15, and at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm on both Saturday, April 16, and Sunday, April 17.

The event will include a short intermission with delicious desserts provided by local bakeries.

Proceeds from the annual Spring Desserts performance weekend goes to support the NCU Music program, including funding tours, recording equipment, and state of the art equipment.
