Nicaragua Reflection – Calling & Connection

IMG_5060

We find the Lord when we seek him with all of our heart. Sometimes life is a very scary and intimidating thing and we don’t always want to follow what the Lord is giving us or putting in front of our lives. Coming on this mission trip was a big step for me. It has pushed me in my walk with the Lord in very big ways. To be here at the Villa and experience all that is here is a huge blessing has impacted me in huge ways. This country needs so much help, and I am so blessed that the Lord is allowing me to serve and minister here. I have a found a gigantic connection with the culture and the people here; it feels like home. My heart is so deeply intertwined with everything here; I can almost guarantee that I will be coming back here. The Lord is calling all his people to serve and to be here serving literally means the world to me. A piece of my heart will always be here; and I am very happy to say that. The Lord works in mysterious ways, and I’m so glad that he is working in me here in Nicaragua.

Jeremiah 29:11-12

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
