EducationUSA Team Meets NCU

EducationUSAA delegation of international college admissions counselors from EducationUSA Advisors toured campus to learn more about the undergraduate and graduate programs Northwest Christian University offers traditional and online students.

The EducationUSA representatives touring campus were from student advising centers in Argentina, Chile, India, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, and Zimbabwe.

“We were pleased to meet with the delegation from Education USA as they assist students to find the right fit for study in the United States,” NCU President Joseph Womack, Ed.D. said. “We look forward to establishing a strong relationship with EducationUSA to help students find the right academic fit at NCU or at another U.S. university.”

EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of over 400 international student-advising centers in more than 170 countries. The network promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about opportunities to study at accredited postsecondary institutions in the United States.

Over the years, students have come to study at NCU from Canada, Mexico, China, Brazil, the Czech Republic, and South Korea, among many others.

The delegation from EducationUSA met with NCU’s Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty Dennis Lindsay, Dr. Theol., Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Kassia Galick, Campus Pastor Troy Dean, M.A, Assistant Director of Resident Life Elyse Crichton ’12 MBA ’14, Academic Advisor Lauren Cramp, M.A., Women’s Soccer Coach Jessica Cardwell and Student Ambassador Joshua Higashi ’18.
