Northwest Christian University’s Forensics Team continues to compete in speech and debate tournaments against teams in the Northwest Forensics Conference comprised of colleges and universities in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
After competing in two tournaments during the fall semester, the team is preparing for competition in a special event with Willamette University at the Oregon State Prison in Salem, Oregon, on Feb. 3, 2017, and in a collegiate tourney at Oregon State University on Feb. 17-18.
“We have a terrific team that is hardworking, but relatively inexperienced,” said William C. Andersen, NCU’s Forensics Coach. “They improve with every practice and competition, so I am looking forward to the tournaments to see how far we’ve progressed.”
Members of the NCU Forensics team are Emily Baker, freshman, Eugene, Oregon , and Gabriel Piechowicz, sophomore, Veneta, Oregon.
