All are invited to Experience Christmas: Under the Stars produced by Northwest Christian University Performing Arts.
The concert will not only feature the 50-member University Choir and Orchestra and Contemporary A cappella Group Willow, but also for the first time an NCU Men’s Quintet! Partnering with the community, the concert will spotlight dancers from Junction City School of Dance , as well as a drum line from the University of Oregon.
Enjoy the Christmas classic, “SNOW” from White Christmas, “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music, popular Pentatonix hits, and more! The musical numbers include a variety of genres: gospel, jazz, Christmas classic standards, and innovative original arrangements from NCU faculty and students.
Through the creative story-telling elements of music, percussion, dance, video, lights, drama, and poetry, this year’s Christmas show will help all of us experience the magic of Christmas—even from the stars perspective! Program Director Dr. Karen De Young says, “The child in all of us wants to feel the wonder of the starry night when love broke into the world.” The NCU students, faculty, and staff are excited and ready to enjoy a star-filled journey with the audience through fun and touching moments alike. Experience Christmas with NCU will be fun for the entire family to enjoy!
Tickets to Experience Christmas: Under the Stars are on sale beginning November 1st.
