Vreeland’s story is one of perseverance and determination. After navigating the challenges of stopping out of school multiple times, she found the courage to return to her studies. Vreeland is currently employed at the Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC), part of the State of Oregon’s Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC). The commission serves as the primary entity supporting Oregonians as they pursue success in postsecondary education. Vreeland plays a vital role in assisting students to access Oregon-specific scholarships and grants. Her dedication to guiding aspiring scholars reflects Bushnell’s core values of service and wisdom, as she works tirelessly to make higher education more accessible for students in her community.
